Zhakathoom The first song that turned me onto Witch Mountain was Beekeeper, thanks to a compilation done by Stonerobixxx way back when. And then when Mobile of Angels hit me there was no saving me. Having aquired a turntable a while back I now had the perfect excuse to go back and grab this.

Uta is just a master at finding that perfect balance between eerie, soul and power that grasps you by the nads and tugs. I'm in awe every time. Favorite track: Beekeeper.

Rhokeheart Amazing Sabbath like hard rock with a female singer who reminds me of Heart. A great album that deserves a listen if you like old school hard rock. Favorite track: Aurelia.

Adam Timbs A crunchy, pleasantly rusted out take on the Doom sound. The band has clearly whetted their knives on Sabbath's grindstone, but are certainly solid with their own brand of dark rock n' roll. Uta Plotkin sings like a possessed Grace Slick who went down the hell hole instead of the rabbit hole. Plotkin's performance is the twine that binds the band's personality together for a dirty, unsettling, and outright rocking record. Favorite track: Aurelia.
